MLC-16 is rated at 80 amps @ 240 volts and the MLC 24 is rated at 120 amps @ 240 volts.  The MLC-16 & MLC-24 represent the latest in large scale lighting control.  They are the best devices for controlling up to 24 lights from one time-clock or controller.  You run either 80 (MLC-16) or 120 (MLC-24) amp power to the MLC, and all of the outlets are controlled by one 120 volt "trigger cable".  You can plug the "trigger cable" into a standard 24 hour timer or lighting controller (HLC series).  The MLC-16 and 24 feature standard 240 volt style (NEMA 6-15) outlets, which your ballast are plugged into.  The MLC-16 contains 4 banks of 4 lights.  The MLC-24 contains 6 banks of 4 lights.  Each bank of 4 lights is protected by a 20 amp circuit breaker.
